Glad to be home

Hey everyone, just wanted to put a little update on here. Andrew came home from the hospital on the 9th of October and went back to school the next day. He has an appt. in Denver today, so we will make sure all of the infection is gone. He has been complaining that behind his ear is itchy, so I am hoping that that is just the skin healing back there. I wanted to post a few pics of the past couple of weeks while I've got the chance!
These are of Andrew in the hospital. He is so brave! He said that the CT machine was cool because it had animals on it to look at! You can see the swelling of his neck on his right side. After a few days of antibiotics, the swelling went down and his fever went away, so they sent him home on oral antibiotics. He also has an appt with an ENT in November to see if he is going to be getting tubes in his ears.

Of course I had to take Aubrey to have a little fun while we were there. We went to the Cherry Creek Mall and she played in the breakfast food there! And then when Andrew got out of the hospital, she wanted to show him the Starlight room at Ronald McDonald house where we stayed. It was a huge playroom.
